Is fiverr good for beginners?

Yes! Fiverr , if you aren’t familiar, is an online marketplace where you can offer your services to anyone for just $5. … But for newbies, instant success with Fiverr isn’t all that common. For one thing, it can be pretty hard to get your listed gigs seen and purchased when you’re just starting out.

So here is what was discussed many times (probably you would’ve find that if you would’ve spend more than 4 min on the forum):
New sellers were complaining before and now fiverr giving new sellers more exposure, created separate category for them, giving the some badges like “rising talent” etc. However in order to move new gigs to first pages fiverr also moving top rated and level 2 sellers on the last pages which is also making old sellers quite annoyed because they spent their time and hard work to deserve that place and all of a sudden this place was given to new sellers with no reviews. So do you think it’s fair towards old sellers?

Fiverr giving you a platform and very good chances to start with and all future Sueces depend only on you. If you are hoping that fiverr will bring you loads of clients and money on a plate then you are totally wrong.

Not me! As Maria said, Fiverr does baby new sellers by giving them more exposure than top-rated and level two sellers. When this first happened the Forum was full of sellers of those levels complaining about new sellers getting such special treatment!

This is true for some sellers but not all. Some sellers have success from day one. It depends on their level of skill, talent, ability and how the gigs are presented.

I think the 3 ladies have mentioned everything that needs to be said, but I’ll add in a few more stuff. Is it hard for beginners? Yes, it could be. After all, having all those 5 stars rating does make you stand out.
Having that said I have read PLENTY of posts here of new sellers telling their stories about getting their first sales within days, and when I go check their gigs it is quite obvious why and not a surprise. Like Miss Crystal said, it’s all about the skill, talent, ability, and presentation.
They all came across as professional.

I went to check your gig, and I’m sorry to sound harsh but right away I saw several spelling/punctuation mistakes in your description. You failed to proofread your description which comes across as a big no-no for many buyers, and I believe a lot of your images is something you found online.
Aside from the skill, talent, ability, and presentation, originality and uniqueness are equally important.

Well to get more orders, you need to be more active online

Create an eye catching gig base on your Niche and what you can offer

then Create a good eye catching GIG IMAGE

after that promote your Gig on Social Platforms

and lastly visit the BUYER REQUEST SECTION and keep sending Job Proposals

Fiverr is wonderful for beginners because of the low entry barriers. The only thing you need is a skill that people are willing to pay for, and the only thing you need to invest is some time to research and set up your Gigs. Fiverr are giving everyone a chance. What they make of that chance is on them.

You don’t need our help. You need to help yourself, start reading, researching, learning. Everything I could tell you to help you is written somewhere on the forum already, freely available.
Here’s one advice though (which you can read like a thousand times on the forum already too, as I said) - if you tell people to contact you elsewhere, you’ll be banned from the platform before you can even get your first gig.

You apparently haven’t read Fiverr’s Terms of Service which you agreed to when signing up. Please do yourself the favour and do that ASAP.
