Client is asking me to give my email for hangouts

Hi! I am new to Fiverr and a client just asked me to give my email for hangouts. I don’t know if I should give my email for hangouts? and also when I try to type my email address it gives me the warning to have all conversations through Fiverr.

Can anyone help?

Please read Fiverr’s ToS at the bottom of the page. In no circumstances you’re allowed to give your contact details to the buyer. All conversations has to be made through Fiverr only.

@trinity2179 basically Fiverr don’t allow any personal information, if you share your personal information Fiverr suspend your account any time. so don’t do it

Thank you for your concern you are really kind. You are right I was not going to give my email address but just wanted to make sure that I was doing the right thing by asking client to have conversations on the Fiverr itself.

Whenever I get asked about google hangouts I automatically report them. That is a scam and it’s against the Fiverr policy.
