How do I begin to get a job as a new seller?

The competition is unsurprisingly steep and stiff here because the number is so high. It can be - to say the least - overwhelming to a new seller like me. I know I am good as a writer (content, copy, creative, technical, etc). But how do I begin to get my initial orders to enable me prove my skills, passion and client satisfaction? I have already created one gig on lyrics writing (which no one has looked at in days). Now, I am working on a new gig on content writing. So, basically, how does a new member like me begin to get orders?

You can create more than 1 gigs… So just add a few more to be sure they can find you when they are looking for something specific.

Thank you Melinda, although I am actually looking for possibly easier faster way than organic ranking.
