So what I did was focused on projects I was already doing on my own time for my own personal use. This way I already had established the knowledge and was improving on that skill. Than once I was ready to branch out I started adding other gigs that fit along in the same areas however. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. Start small and build up, will help with your reputation as well.
