Why offers of a Buyer request grow so much quickly?

Like it goes from 0 to 100 in 10 seconds. I think its just spamming without even reading. Spending the time of Buyer request does really worth it?

It can be very worthwhile, as long as you are addressing the needs of the buyer in a personal and targeted way. You are competing for a project, so you NEED to learn how to market yourself as the best option for the buyer out of all offers received.

If I refresh that page and there is a project with 0 responses at that time will my response be on top if I took my time to do a decent reply or is it just rapid fire?

You do not need to be at the top of the seller responses to be considered for a job. You will be added to the buyer’s list of seller responses in whatever order your response is received. If you see zero responses when you apply, it is highly unlikely that you will be the first seller response listed.

Worry less about trying to be first, and just work to be the BEST response.

Thanks I was really confused about it.

It can be worth it if you write thoughtful, valuable offers that address the buyer’s spxeci6fic problem because you may stand out among the spammers, but I’ve personally never found BRs helpful. Most are super unprofessional and exploitative and these posters wouldn’t understand the concept of value if it slapped them in the face.

Remember a majority of the BR"s have a 3-7 day listed tag on them. The chances that a buyer has not had a response they like is slim in the that time. With just 10 replies a day- concentrate on 24hrs and the gigs that interest you. Delete the rest.

That’s another reason I don’t care to respond to BRs. Many buyers don’t bother to end their request once they’ve found someone, so many BRs may not even be valid anymore.
