Does percentage of reviews matter?

I have a particular client whom I love, but they are tanking my percent of reviewed orders. Does this matter?

What is happening is they will place four or five orders at a time, I will deliver them, and they will review one of the four, then place another four or so orders.

I know better than to ask them to leave reviews. I am just wondering if this is going to cause a negative impact on my account?

I think we have gotten off-topic or I didn’t explain. I am not asking if reviews matter, I know that they do and this buyer leaves all 5 star reviews. I am not asking if I can request a review, as stated I already know I cannot.

What I am asking, does the percentage of my completed gigs that receive a review matter?

No, it does not. I have many buyers who never leave a review.

It depends on how the algorithm is programmed. If it’s programmed to favor people who have a high rate of reviews, then it can affect you in your ranking. But it certainly wouldn’t prevent you from ranking or making sales. A high percentage of reviews can help you, though, if you get a 1-star review or something, because it can help out your review average.

For example, simply because of the math, your star review average will be higher if you have only one 1-star review out of 200 than if you have one 1-star review out of 10.

And of course having a lot of reviews can help you engage a potential buyer when they are comparing you to competitors.
