Issues logging in on PC

Hi has anyone else had any of these issues and if so how did you fix them ?

For over a month when I’ve been on the site it had totally randomly sent me to the blocked page at times and had other bugs with the pm/chat part of the site too but as of yesturday I can not even login on pc, it will show a loading icon where mouse is then do nothing at all, if I try reload the page it sends me to the blocked page and gets worse from there as it then gets stuck in a loop of confirming I am not a bot to being sent back to that page over and over every time I confirm to randomly loading the main page and me being able to look at gigs etc but still not be logged in to randomly getting blocked again.

I am all for them trying to keep scammers out thats a good thing but as it stands whatever system they are using at least in my experience is useless as it blocks me all the time for litrally no reason.

Check you’re browser is accepting all necessary cookies and scripts.

Also it might happen if you load pages too fast sometimes like one page and then very quickly open a second tab. Or maybe loading pages much too often such as the buyer requests page.

Hi thanks for the reply, I already did that and did not change anything before for it to have stopped working propperly.

You could contact CS if it keeps occurring through the support@fiverr.com email address. You could also wait quite a while and try again. It might have at least temporarily blocked that particular IP address. Contacting CS might be best.

I contacted support still waiting on a reply, as i said in my post it is not the first time its happened and as of yesturday it wont even let me login so I’m not sure what I can do now? I can still use mobile app but for main use that is a lot of hassle so this needs fixing.

Are you using Chrome? If not, maybe try that. But also users will have to be careful not to get in trouble for saying how to get around a block that Fiverr has put in place if it’s an intentional block. That’s why I think CS might be the best to give the answer if the current suggestions don’t work.

Yeah I am using chrome, and I would agree with that but I am litrallly not doing anything dodgy to get blocked, I hope they or someone else can help fix it.

Also I had the loop (checking if bot) with Firefox after loading another page in a 2nd tab too fast. But my currently logged in Chrome wasn’t affected.

Really it’s a bad idea what Fiverr are doing or how they’r doing it if just doing things too fast/too often makes it do this. eg. you’re supposed to work as efficiently as possible but if you work too fast/load things too often, Fiverr assumes it’s a bot and blocks it. :roll_eyes:

Hi Nachtss, 2 Months before i was also faced this type of issues, But now it was totally fixed. Are you using a IPv 4 Network or IPv 6 ? This will happens in an IPv6 Network, And also if your public IP is Blacklisted you will get this issue too.

This is better to discuss this issue with fiverr Support.

I have had that in the past if trying to open gig pages one after the other too fast but this is different.

I am honestly not sure which of those it is but its at home, wifi router if that helps?
