Buyer Not Responsive To Accept Or Reject Order Modification Request

Details:

  1. Order created Aug. 26.

  2. Order delivered Aug. 27.

  3. No response from buyer until Aug. 29 (Order automatic completion date).

  4. Modification Request from buyer Aug. 29 midnight, asking for a sentence or two about something else not covered in the order.

  5. Woke up Aug. 30 to my chagrin. Fired back with Order Modification Request.

  6. Two days elapsed and the buyer did not accept or reject request.

  7. Now, there is a “Not Responsive” message on the order page, informing me the order would be automatically cancelled in 48 hours if the buyer fails to respond.

So what do I do in this situation?

I’ve an option to withdraw my request or modify the order and deliver it without additional costs to the buyer.

I don’t want the order to be cancelled because I’ve fulfilled all the requirements.

My client is always “Out of Office” and I don’t know when she is online.

But I’m sure she is monitoring the situation.

And she understands how Fiverr works.

I am a new seller however from my understand of the situation I would just modify the order and redeliver if it is not a lot of work because if the order is cancelled than you have an order cancellation against you and you don’t get paid for the work you have previously done.

Thank you.

I think that’s the more reason for this post.

But what about late delivery for modifications? Would that affect me?

The order was due for completion Aug. 29, the same day it was reactivated through Modification Request.

The only thing that would worry me is that if you are late at delivering and the buyer is unhappy with the late work so then they give you a bad rating for the late work. But - to answer you question no it does not couldn’t against your stats for revisions going pass the due date because you did deliver.

OK. That’s also part of my worries.

Many thanks.

Fired back with Order Modification Request.

I don’t get it, did you go to resolution center to ask your buyer to pay for a revision or what?

Yes, I did. The order didn’t cover such modifications initially.

It wasn’t that I didn’t deliver a quality job.

But the buyer thought something else could be added.

And that involved further research.

I was also miffed that the buyer waited until few hours before the order would be automatically marked as complete before she requested modifications.

Her request came about two days after delivery.

Then instead of adding it through resolution center you can just send your buyer a custom offer, it doesn’t have a pressure of 2 days timeframe
