Question about changing my username?

Hi all,
I was wondering if there’s any way to edit or change my username? I’ve heard that to do that I’d need to deactivate my account and make a new one? If I do need to deactivate my account can I use the same email address/Phone number/ Id to verify the new account? Thanks in advance! 😀

Unfortunately, once you sign up for an account, that username is permanent. You cannot change your username here on Fiverr. As I understand it, if you start over, you cannot use use the same email, funding source, etc.

That’s a shame 😐 So I couldn’t use the same paypal or id I used before? I was planning on kind of trying to make more of a ‘brand’ out of my account, using blogs, ko-fi, things like that and I wanted a better username to kind of tie them all together…

Why can’t you “make a brand” out of your existing “drawn2write” username? In all honesty – as a brand developer myself – I don’t see anything wrong with this username. You could easily build a brand out of this username.

Keep in mind too, buyers aren’t going to hire or ignor you based upon the username that you have. They are going to hire or ignor you based upon the quality of your service. Contrary to popular belief, a brand is MUCH more than just a name.

You cannot change your username and you cannot use same email for new account. I think you clear

Yeah I work in branding, too and see nothing wrong with it. I like it! It’s memorable and evocative.

Unless a username has a bunch of digits in it or scammy text or a spelling or grammar error, I don’t see it preventing sales, anyway.
