Spam from Fiverr via Email

I have received an email:

I am in the process of hiring this guy for our seo work: https://www.fiverr.com/*******He says that he has worked with you last year? Could you please let me know if he is any good? Did you get good results?

I replied to it and got a reply from the sender who had not written the email, neither of us have ever had contact with this seller, looks to me like he is just trying to scrape some business via shady methods?
