Gigs Ranking dropped after account Identity verification

Recommended Posts

Dear Members,
I had an issue during my account verification because I had taken a selfie of myself holding my Identify card which would not be recognized by the system. I tried that three times and my account was restricted. I contacted support and they told me that I should upload a photo of my face, without holding the Identity card and my account was restored. Unfortunately, none of my gigs appears in the top pages as they used to. I am sad because I do not receive inquiries anymore, despite the fact that the account was picking well with good ratings.

Fiverr does not guarantee sales to anyone, nor is it Fiverr’s responsibility to provide you with sales, or list your gig at the top of search results. Gigs are performance based. If your gig dropped to a lower place in the search results, it is likely your gig performance that was the cause, not the verification system.

If you need/want more orders, have you considered marketing and promoting your services to the target customers that need what you have to offer?

I think I said the Gigs dropped because there was an initial restriction on the account. My concern is whether the ranking dropped as a result.

Like I noted in response, I don’t think your restriction had anything to do with your gig dropping down in the search results. It was probably something having to do with your gig performance.

“He is awesome. Helped me with my stats homework! I got an A”

The above is copied from a review left on one of your gigs.

Offering to help with homework is against the Terms of Service at the bottom of the Fiverr main page.

Your gig is likely to be removed at any time.

Suggest you carefully read and abide by the Terms of Service as a violation can risk your account.

Providing tutorial guidance doesn’t mean providing solutions. Helping to assess a research construct and developing analytic codes for an analysis model doesn’t imply responsibility for the interpretability of the model and its relevance.

If you type “maths gig denied” in the search bar above there are several posts on the subject.

Will leave this with you.

i am facing same issue, i have successfully verified my id straight away when i got the notification, after that my gigs completely disappeared and not to be seen unless i use so many filters, my main gig was ranked for each key word but now cant be seen.
CS are not bothered and dont care, i have everything 100%, full 5 star ratings, no cancellation, no late orders, no negative, nothing bad has happened apart from ID verification. Many sellers felt that this is the issue, i have read on forums but CS failed to understand this,
This site has gone very bad day by day. No protection for sellers in any way.
Many people warned me not to contact CS as they will reply back with same copy paste messages, thats exactly what they did, i asked about A and B, they replied back with G and H, lol
completely different replies!!
