Someone is stealing deliveries from my page/orders or buyers' YouTube channels

There’s many ways to download videos, especially FROM youtube. So if your user uploaded it TO youtube, it’s very very easy to download it, and re-upload it on youtube.

Reply to @bigbadbilly: I just hesitated doing that from the start because I give up any rights over my videos once I sell them, so my buyers can do whatever they want with them and I thought it might be a buyer. But then I checked out more of them and even saw my gig description video… I’ll see what I can do.



Flagging the video for a copyright issue is a pretty complicated process. Lots of things to prove… and I’m afraid that if my buyers have the same content on YouTube, it might be removed for them as well since I mark it as mine. 😦

Reply to @shawnecannon: Yes. Fortunately, the lady that stole from me apologized and removed everything that wasn’t hers from her YouTube account. I wasn’t as mad as I was actually upset that a fellow Fiverr user would do that… 😦

You should make your videos private which prevents a URL from being created. Also, there are tons of websites where people can get videos downloaded for free.



You can always put a big watermark on your videos so it looks bad to anyone else. That would deter the hacker.
