Trying to figure out the ranking in search

I know I was reading a previous thread about the ranking system, but I just can’t seem to figure it out. I thought I had for a moment. I had one day where order after order was coming in and I thought, “wow.” And then it slowed down. But I have noticed that some others who tend to have a full queue are a little light as well. I wonder if it is a seasonal thing since we’re getting ready to head into Winter soon. Any veteran sellers have any input on this? Does it slow down in the cooler months?

Sales rise and fall as a result of many different factors. The reasons for one seller, may not be the same for another. It is wise, however, not to expect the search results to be your only source of customers. Are you doing any marketing to reach out to your target clients?
