Someone sent me a message offering me work that is unrelated to the gig I had posted, but still something that is listed in my profile as a task I am able to do.Can someone tell me if this is a typical Fiverr spam message or something that may be legitimate?Buyer: hello how are you today , are you working on an y project for now ?Me : Hello! No, I am not currently working on any projects at the moment. Is there a project I can help you with? Thank you!Buyer: Thanks for getting back to me i am Thomas, a contractor into administrative duties i will like you to handle py0ll duties for me it requires less than 2hrs daily and 3days per week duties includes; printing of workers checks, and mailing out via UPS service i handle postage fees pay is $250 weekly reply as soon as possible if interestedMe: Sure, I’d be happy to help. Is there a particular program you use to print your payroll checks?Buyer: you are to pick up ups envelops and ups nextday express airbill forms they are free you can pick them up at any ups drop off boxes closer to you. you will also need to purchase business check paper from amazon it cost about $30 … you will be reimbursed when receiving your first paymentAny insight on whether this sounds like a scam message would be appreciated. landongrace Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 Working outside of Fiverr or doing something that is illegal or against the TOS is spam.I don’t get many of them, but I don’t invest alot of time and emotion in the process.“I am not able to help you. Thanks for considering me.”If they are a potential client and they are rambling message after message, I always end with the response, “How can I help you start an order today.
