Inconsistent fiverr app notifications

I installed the fiverr app to receive immediate notifications, but it seems it is very inconsistent. I used to get notifications with no sound, and now it has completely stopped notifications altogether. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app as some has suggested, but it has not worked out. Has anybody found any solutions to this problem?

I never had any problem with an app. I’m receiving notifications in my app even few seconds before the browser. So I’m not sure what’s the problem. I would advise to check if you allowed notifications on your phone settings and in the app itself.

I have checked in my notification settings and everything is enabled.

It used to work perfectly for me but lately, the app notifications lag and the desktop notification sound is very moody.
Recently it suddenly went off after weeks of complete silence, I had gotten so used to not getting the sound anymore, I had forgotten it existed. I thought oh good, there it is again, but haven’t heard it again since that one time. I’m seeing that as a sign though, by some supernatural force that doesn’t want me disturbed by that not so pretty sound 😉

Less lag for the phone notifications wouldn’t hurt, though. Reinstalling and cache clearing was not the answer.

Since the end of last year I only get sound notifications once each death of bishop. As for the pink dot, I don’t even get it unless I refresh my lap.

And it has happened, my buyer messaging me and I only knowing about it half an hour later, having to apolize because of Fiverr. :frowning_face:

I spoke with CS, they really tried to to help, but nothing… only the sound of silence… :roll_eyes:

Well, I always keep refreshing TBH, because I’m in the same boat as you.

Also, try changing the browser (it helps sometimes) but overall, before this new fancy inbox (well, it was updated I think 1 year ago) Fiverr messages was so smooth.

I use Chrome. Fiverr is supposed to be optimized for it. 🥴

Yeah, I guess it has something to do with all this mess. With the older inbox, I don’t remember having problems. :thinking:

Everytime Fiverr decides to play with whatever they feel to play with (even if it’s working), issues arise. I wonder who they keep hiring whos rating is 5* in messing up things. :roll_eyes:

Trust me and try Firefox. 🙂

Might work better for you (as it does for me…for now).

I have found the push notifications to be highly erratic and unreliable, too. Sometimes, I get the push notification even a few seconds earlier than the notification on the desktop website! At other times, they are very delayed… often by several minutes (in rare cases, even by a couple of hours).

You’re lucky. I usually get a lot of “predictable” noises (in rare cases, random gibberish). Never silence. 😜

I really appreciate all the efforts CS has done for me the few times I have contacted them. They have always treated me very kindly and have been very friendly. Nothing to complaint from them. 🙃

In this particular case, CS stood with me for more than 4 days and tried to help as much as possible although, at the end, nothing could be done. :frowning_face: I was very grateful to them for all their support and being with me along the way, always treating me nicely, and I told them not to worry, that I understood it was something out of their control to fix.

The problem here, is that CS can’t ammend programmers faults and give them warnings for not providing & delivering top notch work… 🤨
