Can someone tell me how to take a screenshot by just using the keyboard in windows 8.2?

I tried using ALT + HOME but it took me to my homepage. Thanks in advance.

I also am looking for some suggestions for screenprinting software.

Have you tried Windows Key + Print Screen? On Windows 8.1, that’d save a screenshot to the Pictures folder.

There’s a non-keyboard way but pretty fast still, in case you didn’t know, maybe that helps for your purposes.
Type “snipping tool” into the Windows search bar, you should see it in the results and can choose it then. It’s pretty handy as you can choose cut-outs from your screen right away (mouse) before they get saved, so you won’t need to open and edit the file in case you don’t want to show/use the whole screen you get from the [Win] + [Print Screen] method, which is the quickest method else.

Personally, I use Snagit from techsmith for screenshots - premium, but I use it all the time so it’s worth it.

Awesome screenshot is a free browser add on that does what it says on the tin, more or less.
