I’ve bought over 250 gigs on fiverr for my youtube channel. I buy voice overs and original songs for video animation, and I’ve also purchased some animated videos on here. Sellers that have stuck in my mind are

Funny scripts and voice overs from

http://www.fiverr.com/danjovanovic

http://www.fiverr.com/heresricky

http://www.fiverr.com/tomsthevoice

The most amazing original songs from http://www.fiverr.com/arcon1

Fiverr has helped my You tube channel become so successful it has just paid for my new car!

I have just started my own gig (http://www.fiverr.com/birthday_ideas/be-your-number-1-youtube-subscriber) to help other people get started on You tube, unfortunately I’m not quite as good at selling as I am at buying lol

I am a seller and didnt purchase anything on fiverr until recently.

I purchased a logo gig and a website template it was outstanding. I am impressed to see the level of talent here on fiverr. I wish I was a graphic designer too

I’m a hobby writer and for kicks wanted to self-publish a book of mine online to see what kind of reaction I’d get. With no artistic chops, I went on Fiverr and found a guy who seemed willing to take my rough idea for a cover and flesh It out. Indikson did awesome and It was even better than I could have hoped for.

I’m happy to report that this little story has found it’s audience, and I really credit the Fiverr cover for helping make it happen.

Here’s the link to the final cover (and a free download of the book if you’re so inclined.)

And here’s Indikson’s page of his current gigs.

I came to Fiverr about 4 months ago when I was writing copy for a for a marketing company’s landing page and was desperate to find someone to do a “spokesmodel” video. I had never even heard of Fiverr, but stumbled across it in a web search. I found a GREAT person to do the video (http://www.fiverr.com/motherstucker). She was incredibly professional and a natural salesperson…and the whole thing only cost $10. After I ordered that gig I fell into what I call a “Fiverr Hole”. I spent the next few hours going from gig to gig, amazed at all the stuff I could accomplish using gigs. Short of feeding and clothing yourself, I think you can get almost any need met on Fiverr. Oh…not sex either. Not yet, anyway. Eventually I decided that since I was spending so much time on the site I may as well try to get compensated for it…so a month ago I became a Fiverr seller.

A colleague of mine has a terrific logo and a beautiful intro to his YouTube channel which I always envied. I finally got a chance to talk with him at a recent conference, and instead of the $$$$ I thought he had probably paid, he said one word. “Fiverr” I have been blown away by the talent here, and my plans for rebranding, which had been kind of “out there,” are now falling into place as I now have professional-quality stuff to work with. While I plan to launch my project at the end of the year, the quality I’m getting from the gigs is making me consider moving up the date!

Fiverr rocks!

I like the concept of Fiverr. But I am at 50% with bad experiences with sellers after being a member 1 month. One seller claimed to be in USA but lied. I could tell he was foreign when his English sentence structure was odd. Seller later fessed up he was a student in India. The other seller did not finish his gigs for me. He had weeks and kept putting me off. I wanted to leave him negative feedback but could not find out a way to do it. I contacted Fiverr to find out how to leave feedback if gig was still open or closed, but could not get a response.

The worst part is trying to get customer service help from Fiverr. They do not respond.

I have refunded money in Fiverr account but it is not accessed to pay for new gigs. My PayPal is charged for all new gigs. I do not know how my Fiver money out.

I ordered a landing page gig from fragglesrock, and upon its completion gave a four-star review (he didn’t follow instructions the first go around). As the text was still in flux, I stressed that I had to be able to edit it. After several attempts, I was unable to edit it and offered to buy another gig if fragglesrock would fix it for me. He offered instead (on July 17) to do it for free. That’s great, except a week later I still hadn’t received it. So on July 23 I sent a reminder. He immediately responded that he would check to see that the work had been done and send it right away. I still haven’t gotten it! I sent reminders on July 24 and 26. Here it is July 29. When someone promises to do something, the professional thing to do is deliver on the promise. I get no value for the work I have paid for until I actually have a page I can make public. And so far I don’t. I am beyond disappointed in this utter failure of professionalism. I have been trying to get this landing page up for months and months. fragglesrock is the third Fiverr gig I have ordered and the third one not to deliver anything I can actually post and start driving traffic to. So it is not only fragglesrock who has failed to deliver, but Fiverr itself.

I just wanna cancel an order.

Fragglesrock is the worst seller you can use, he let me down…when i sent him the homework he said he can do it in 7 hours and he gave me the price i paid …

after paying and after the 7 hours he didn’t send me the work…i contacted him and 24 hours after he sent me an email saying actually he needs 3 days to do it., 😦

I am very disapointed cause i saw him on line and he discard my messages

i sent him an email saying pleae just tell me if you can do just half of the work as it s due tonight,he didn;t answer and he was on line

Fragglesrock is a bad news

I’ve noticed a trend on Fiverr, there are a lot of Graphic Designers who think that they can get by with just using Photoshop and using file formats as buzzwords. I recently chose a gig that promised the original EPS file when it was done. What I ended up with, was Photoshop saving an EPS with an embedded image in it. I contacted the seller to make it correct, and was given a file that was brought into Illustrator and autotraced. Apparel and Logo design are a vector world, I wish more people would say what they are using to create their artwork, so that it is easier to get the right person if true vector is one of your requirements.

Hey Guys,

Just wondering what you think:

bought a gig offering an application. This application was full of viruses and a trojan, it was obviously cracked with bad intensions. So the guy tells me where its from: he obtained a cracked application for free from a forum.

Dont get me wrong, he can have his 5 dollars, he feels in his right mind cause he told me where he got the app from, but aint i right for asking a refund? I suppose i could have known better or might have just ordered for fun:D

Also is it allowed to sell cracked software on here? Really curious, no time to read any TOS.

Sheriff’s Note: No. You may not sell cracked software. You may not sell anything without reading the ToS.

I discovered fiverr when I was looking to have a logo made for my business. I ordered a hand-drawn letter logo and it was beautiful. I had such a great experience as a buyer that I wanted to become a seller now too! I had my first sale yesterday 🙂

As a first-time Fiverr user I was a little worried about the quality of the blog articles I would receive. So I purchased 3 gigs from (1) someone who was very highly recommended (2) someone with a few gigs under their belt but a good background and (3) a newie. Of the 3 gigs the most impressive performance came from the newbie. She provided two high quality blog posts that matched the style and tone of my site. The gig with the freelancer who had only a few jobs under their belt also turned out well. The biggest disappointment was the work provided by a writer with excellent feedback. The work was poorly written and did not make sense. I believe that provider either lied about their location or hired someone from another country on the side to write the article for them.

Lesson learned… sometimes newbies are the most hungry and want to provide real, quality products to their clients. High feedback does not always equal quality work. I will continue partnering with my newbie because she is fantastic.
