Will it affect to your rating if you cancel a project at earliest stage before you submit any work files for some reasons.
The reasons could be something as follow for instance:

  • due to lack of client’s instruction or the client’s don’t give much details about the work
  • you are not available for the work or before you have the chance to set your online status to offline.
  • the client’s job description or requirement is larger than the gig scope or price

This is because many times clients just placing order without any prior discussion about the work scope.
It will be nice ot hear comment from you guys! 🙂
Thank you!

Like ksutts said every cancellation will affect your order completion rate. If you browse around the forum, you’ll find cases where sellers contacted Customer Support to cancel an order for them and it didn’t affect their order completion rate.

the client’s job description or requirement is larger than the gig scope or price

You can send custom offers to your clients if the requirements are larger than gig scope or price. Read more here:

but will the client can still leave bad rating after that?

Clients can only leave ratings on completed orders. ☀️
