Buyer wants to cancel order due to his error

I have a buyer that wants to cancel his order, in his first message to me he states that he thought I would implement the changes for him but he now realizes that is not part of the gig. He then sent a request to cancel the order which sates that the work delivered thus far is poor. I do not mind canceling the order and allowing him to keep the work done so far but I do not want a poor performance mark on my account simply because he did not read the gig description.

Is that cancellation message standard, does it effect my accounts health and if so what should I do?
