Scammers as buyers want to test your ability?

Recommended Posts

If you want, you could have some “fun” with these scammers, as olie01 did: 😉

For context this happened the same day as I made my first ever gig. [sketch-1558459836339] [sketch-1558459918950]I got no messages for a couple weeks, the scammer must have ran dry on good leads though because he came back. I decided to have a little fun. The best part is if you waste enough of their time they’ll miss the opportunity to scam others.

Thank you for saying this!

I’ve found that these scammers act like they are doing you a favor by giving you an opportunity. No, you’re just trying to get free work…

Yes, I’ve had many of them contact me, and it turns out to be a con artist.

But if you’ve had many of them contact you, you would get used to their syntax

But fiverr is able to detect these guys and their messages wouldn’t affect your response rate of you don’t reply them

Thanks, yes I know, but Fiverr can’t track the kind of scammer I’m talking about.

It’s not illegal to ask someone for a 50% discount and not technically/legally considered a scam, but I still consider that to be a scam.
