lynmotion
Hello. On my most recent delivery for a gif me and my client found out the file did not sent correctly. We found out that after downloading, the gif only contained 100 frames instead of the original 140. This was confusing at first because in my render there wasn’t anything wrong with it, no matter where I opened it for me it was normal. I asked for her to send the file I sent to her to see what was wrong. I found out 40 frames weren’t there. After a second time of delivering and re-rendering to be sure, the file was still not complete after she downloaded it through Fiverr.Eventually I re-rendered AGAIN and also uploaded the file hidden in Imgur only for the client to see and also delivered the same gif file through the delivery button, with a download link to imgur. She had the same problem when downloading the gif from Fiverr. But on the site and when downloading it from the site it was complete. This was quite frustrating and confusing for a while. Has this happened to anyone before? Can I messege Fiverr about this because I hope my future clients can download their delivery through Fiverr without problems.
uk1000
Yes you could contact CS about it.I’d check that when the buyer is downloading the Fiverr version of the gif that they are right-clicking on the attached file then saving it. If they are saving a video/gif preview (from Fiverr’s preview of it) maybe it has converted it (eg. maybe the preview has a lower frame rate or less frames and/or lower res). But to be safe you could also deliver it as a link.
