Buyer want me to do research for presentation which is out of gig scope

Hello sellers,
i just got an order for Presentation design, my buyer and me agreed on 15$ for 17 slides presentation, she told me that i will send you 17 slides, and i have to make powerpoint presentation from them,
then after a while she sent me 17 pages full thesis on Strategic Studies, and she want me to do the research and extract the important information form those 17 pages, as i am not strategic study guy, so how i can pull important points from those full 17 pages.
i asked her that it was not part of the deal, and she sent me 17 pages instead of 17 slides, now she is not responding?

So what should i do now? should i go to resolution center and ask buyer to cancel order? if yes, then it will effect my profile and ratings?

This is pretty bad of this buyer.

I suggest you contact CS, explain that the buyer ordered one thing and then did a “bait and switch” on you - meaning, the supplied information does not reflect what was agreed. Take screenshots of the conversation, the order and add the 17 pages to your CS message.

They may well cancel the order without affecting your stats. Ask them to do that.

Contact CS and tell them that your buyer is asking you to help with an academic project. Explain that you sent an offer to create a presentation, but that now your buyer is asking you to analyze an academic thesis and create a presentation without any direction. State that you know completing academic work is against TOS and that you would, therefore, like CS to cancel this order, ideally without if affecting your stats.

Handle this hard and complex situation smartly. First of all you can try to make a mutual with the buyer. if this goes well then fine

Otherwise you can go to the CS section. Though the order cancellation will harmful for your profile & GIG rank.
