My response rate dropping due to spam message

Recommended Posts

Hey!
I noticed my response rate suddenly started to drop without any activity and since I was not checking it on my PC, it continued to drop further. Luckily I checked it on my PC and realized that I had a pink mark on my inbox tab but when I check all the contacts, there was no current message, but finally I checked my spam and found a message there to which I was not responding and the was the reason for my response rate drop. People if you ever see a pink mark on the inbox tab and don’t find any current message in the inbox contact list, don’t take it as a fiverr bug as I did, do check the spam, that will ruin you score.

Ok, but what esle could be the reason for the drop, as I reply to the messaes in no more than a minutes.

That is your response time.

Response Time (how quickly you respond to a new request in your inbox)

Response Rate (what percentage of inbox messages you reply to within 24 hours)

what esle could be the reason for the drop

I think you got the answer.😀

Spam messages doesn’t affect your response rate.

Spam messages doesn’t affect your response rate.

It does although Fiverr says it doesn’t. So, the best is to respond to every message and, in case of spam, write something simple such as reported, No, or whatever you like best, and then mark it as spam.

Yes this is the fact. I have been a succumb to this.

Spam messages absolutely do affect your response rate. I plummeted from a long-term Level 2 to a 0 one month due to them. I had reported them as Spam, but did not answer them first. CS told me to respond with “no” or “reported” or some such and then report them. It’s silly, in my opinion, but need to protect those level ratings.

Absolutely, as we achive those levels with enough labout and toil. Fiverr should make some mechanism to protect its sellers from such a harm.
