Search tags and keywords - connection between them

there is a trouble in my mind about what is the inter connection between the keywords and search tags in the gig. in my gigs I used long tail keywords for tags but there is not enough impressions, views and no orders yet. I can see most of sellers using very short tags for their gigs. If any one have knowledge about this behavior on fiverr search engine. please make me understand it.
