Does buyer request appear on certain time period in the day?

Good question,
I never thought about it but I would not be surprised if it does since the requests first have to get approved. Perhaps it doesn’t at once certain time but once they accept a bunch they get online all together at once, maybe that explains why it could look as if they upload at a certain time? I can only speculate so I’m curious if anyone has an actual anwser to this! 😊

Thank you very much for your explanation 😇

Hi,

No. Buyer requests can appear at any time of the day or night.

There are quite a few new sellers who claim that buyer requests appear at a particular time of the day. That’s misleading information. If I were you, I wouldn’t listen to that.

I saw yesterday at 12.pm its show 12 buyer requests. I am new the Fiverr. can someoe explain me about this please?

The buyer requests appear based on the categories and subcategories on your Gig .

some categories always have requests , while the rest do only for a limited time in a day.

There was a time I clicked on buyer request and I saw 5 requests . I refreshed the page almost immediately and they all disappeared!! I have no idea why that happened .

could it be that all the requests were paused at the same time? coincidentally? only fiverr knows.

what you need to do is get the app and check from time to time for buyer requests. I often wake up at midnight ,just to check for buyer requests.

This is because buyer requests are programmed such that once they receive about 10 offers from sellers of your level (unleveled/new seller), they get removed from your view. This has already been confirmed by CS in response to a ticket submitted by a Fiverr seller.

Since there are probably hundreds if not thousands of unleveled/new sellers in the same niche as you applying to these buyer requests, you can expect them to disappear pretty quickly (often within a matter of minutes; sometimes even seconds). It ONLY takes 10 sellers to apply to a BR for it disappear from your view.

Do NOT refresh the page until you submit offers to all the BRs (that you’re interested in) that are visible on your screen.

I completely understand now.

Thank you:grinning:

This is very helpful and explains some of the requests disappearing I was very interested in offering on. I had to leave and planned to offer on it once I got back but as expected it was gone, now I know better!

One question, I’ve sometimes seen 13-18 offers on some buyer requests in my gig catogory and when buying I got once got 50 offers on a logo request I posted. So does it depend what kind of request it is? Or was it offered on very fast before they could make it disappear, if that’s possible?

You received 50 offers when you had posted a BR? 😳

Yeah it was on a logo request I got offers REALLY fast, in mere minutes. I tuned them down after deleting a few I was not interested in, and it did update and added more requests from other people.

Currently I tuned it down again to 17 and paused it there.

(Only 2 of the 50 actually read my post, which was shocking too and I’ve made a small post about it)

It did go very fast but it also updated (fast as well) after I tuned it down, so I guess that’s what happened. I assume a lot of people offer to make logos and pay attention to buyers request!

That’s very unfortunate. I hope you have better luck with Buyer Requests (BRs) in the future.

That’s the reason why some sellers prefer going the long route by looking for sellers on Fiverr using the search function and contacting individual sellers who they’re interested in to find a seller who is the best match for their project. 🙂

Yes! It is one of the most “happening” categories on Fiverr. 😉

and pay attention to buyers request!

Unfortunately, nope. Sad to say, but there are many sellers who just paste copy-pasta messages when responding to BRs and hope that a buyer selects them out of sheer luck!

I agree, in the logo catogory it seems to be a lot of copy pasting for sure yeah. I currently have a voice-over request going and luckily they pay much more attention which I can appreciate a lot, curious what I’ll find out in the future, we’ll see 😃
