Something went wrong when sharing gig to Linkedin & 1 other question

Hello,

I’m quite new here and I’d like to try to get my Gig out there more by sharing it, but whenever I click the LinkedIn button to share it it shows this:

Translation: “Oops something went wrong, try again”

My LinkedIn account is logged in, I tried to I simply copy the link of my gig and post it but it looks like this:

Unlike this on Facebook (Here it did work):

My 2nd question is, my thumbnail on of my video on both my gigs are stretched out while the first one you see is 1080x1920 format. If you click the image you can see my other gig, this one is indeed smaller in size (1080x1080) so I’d understand that it stretches it out on that one.

When you click it it plays normal though, but it doesn’t look appealing when you search for gigs and I havent seen others who have it aswell, maybe I did something wrong?

I hope I placed this in the correct section, I hope someone can help me out so I can properly get my gig out there.

Thank you in advance!

Some sites block all Fiverr links because way too many sellers posted way too much spam.

That’s too bad, wish they had certain rules for that so people could post at least once. Thank you for informing me though!

Even I have the same problem. I copied the link and pasted it in LinkedIn profile. In that way it works.

Thanks for your reply, I guess I will have to do that then, it won’t show up as nice as I wish it would though

I may be wrong, but I think sharing just results in generic links to Fiverr anyway. i.e. Not links to your actual gigs.

Also, as others have said, most social media sites block Fiverr links. What you can do instead is create ads for your services using apps like Canva. Then share those instead with links to your gigs.

I’ll look into the alternative you gave, I had never heard of Canva before so I’ll give it a try. Thank you for bringing it up!
