Can't become a seller as Fiverr won't accept my mobile no

Recommended Posts

It is a normal UK registered no beginning with 07.
this no is accepted by:
:Facebook
Google
Yahoo
Godaddy
Fiverr says: “something wrong with this number”.
Says Facebook. Google and email verified.
Unable to proceed with my first gig.
Been a buyer about 10 years, bought over 300 gigs.
Any ideas why there this problem and any solution? (other then changing no).
Thanks in advance

Try removing the 0.

Usually, when you dial the UK internationally, you replace the 0 with +44.

Fiverr should already be defining the UK dialing code, so just enter your number as 7xxxxxxxxxx

I think that should work.

When you say it is a normal registered number, do you mean normal as in linked to a physical sim? i.e Definitely not any kind of virtual number?

If so, you may want to give up for a while. Fiverr can be very buggy at times. Maybe log in tomorrow from an incognito browser (so all cookies are cleared) and try again. If that doesn’t work, your only option will be to contact their customer service department.

Yes, not VOiP but physical SIM.
I like your suggestion!! Will go library tomorrow to do it.
They said I have to change my no.
Also, this username is from 10 years ago…I’ve changed a bit since then!
My first seller gig is going to a counsellor gig…they won’t let me change the username to something more appropiate. They expect me to, get ready for it:

  1. close this account
  2. open new account for new username
  3. start a new email address…new account can’t have same email address
  4. Start a new mobile no as well!..

It’s not possible to change your username. It’s that way for everyone, not just you.
