Looking seller by location, don't show Spain

It does, at least for me, if you search for something which contains gigs from Spanish sellers.

eg. searching for “logo” will include Spain in the search list as there are Spanish sellers who create logos, but searching for “NLP” won’t.

NLP=Natural Language Processing (amongst other things).

The search bar doesn’t work for usernames if that’s what you are searching for, but if you search for “website” or “logo” etc in the Fiverr search bar (things that might be in the title of a gig), if there are gigs from sellers whose location is Spain in the search results, “Spain” will be listed in the location filter.

I see what you mean. I searched for “website” and there was none shown in Spain when I tried to find a seller in Spain. But most of your clients wouldn’t be in Spain anyway. They would be anywhere in the world, so the usefulness of being shown in Spain is probably not important anyway, although speaking Spanish would be a plus.

When I search for “website” it shows Spain as one of the location filters. Selecting Spain shows me 146 gigs containing “website” from sellers in Spain.

@uk1000 Maybe it just updated today since I wrote that if his gig is new. It definitely wasn’t there when I looked this morning.

I think the problem was he was probably trying to find his profile using the search bar (which won’t work) rather than search for gigs using the search bar. But yes if his gig is new it may not be found in search results until it’s approved by CS and indexed.

I didn’t look for his gig, I looked up “website” and then looked for Spain in the filters. I think his gig has website in the title so it would have shown up but not sure if that’s how it works.

Spain was not in the list of countries.

Looking for “website” when I’m logged in with Google Chrome doesn’t show “Spain” in the location filter.
Looking for “website” when not logged in with Firefox does show “Spain” in the location filter and selecting Spain shows 146 results (gigs) for it.

edit: Maybe the OP could report it to CS to get it fixed if it’s a bug.

Depending on the context, OP can either refer to the first post in a forum topic (Original Post) or the person who posted the first post in a forum topic (Original Poster). In this case, you are the OP of this thread (forum topic).

CS (usually) refers to Fiverr’s Customer Support team. In order to contact them, you have to create a support ticket. You can contact CS by creating a support ticket at: https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets/new

I meant that I think it would be best if you contacted Fiverr customer support (see the helpdesk link hansuber16 has posted above) and include screenshots. eg. you can say something like I said above (with the search for “website”), that searching for it when offline (with Firefox) shows results that include sellers whose location is Spain but searching when online (with Chrome) doesn’t show sellers whose location is Spain and doesn’t show Spain in the location filter.

When you create the support ticket you can select the option that says “report a bug or mobile bug” when it says “what can we help you with? [select relevant subject]”.
