Can I done verify process using Sri lanka ID card issued by government

Hello friends,

I need know Can I done verify process using Sri lanka ID card issued by government. I don’t have passport or license. But I have NIC ( national identity card). There are all details in English. I know need Can I done using NIC. May be all peoples aren’t license or passport but have ID card issued by government. I don’t know why can’t use ID card for vitrification process.

Please explain so I can ready documents future.
