Necessary to purchase a gig from buyer requests?

Hi,
Hope you’re all doing good.

I don’t know if its a right question to be asked, am just curious.
Is it necesaary to buy a gig from requests that we put, was thinking of buying one, but what if I don’t like any of those offers, so am i liable to buy one , or would it affect my profile in anyway, if i don’t accept any of those offers.

Ps: Am a seller too.
