How do I know it's safe to give out my password info to a fiverr?

Basically that’s it…I need some work done, and the fiverr wants access to my server and my wordpress.

This makes me at least a little nervous.

How can I feel secure in giving that info to a perfect stranger?

As a seller of web services, I am trusted with people’s logins for their website, mail services, and hosting accounts. I honor that trust and I believe in Karma. Therefore, I make sure I backup a site before I work on it and I do only want I’m hired to do.



Someone wanted to give me access to their Fiverr account login and I told them I didn’t feel comfortable logging into certain types of accounts.



As a buyer, I would make sure to backup my own site if I had to give someone else access to it as a safety precaution.



Beyond those measures, I agree with Matt, you have to have faith.

simply check high ranked sellers, and his/her repeated buyer, you will know that guy is trusted.
