Is Gig Video helpful tool to increase ranking?

Hi,
Is gig video helpful tool to improved gig position and ranking ? My experience is not so good after posting video gig ranking not increased as i expect and fiverr claim it increase gig ranking by 40%. What your experience guys ?

I have watched all my stats drop to absolute zero after I uploaded a gig video. I don’t think it’s general however, it’s just my unique experience with gig videos.

Any edits made to a current gig will initially drop its ranking while under review. If you are creating a new gig and have a nicely put together video to add when creating it, then go for it. If your gig video is sloppily put together, it can turn potential buyers away instead of bring more in though.
