Receiving spam messages a lot

Hi everyone,

I’ve been receiving messages containing links asking for my details to create an upwork account, or to ■■■■■ them. Is it just me?

So weird…

These seem to come in waves sometimes. Reply to them or your response percentage goes down, but do report, and then ignore.

I do report them right away. If it’s good for my response time (aka less then 30min) I’ll respond first then block.

It is safer to always responde to messages even spam messages before reporting them. Just reply with something like “reported” and that’s it.

There have been instances in the past where doing just that has affected the response rate. So, I always respond to spam and only then block/report it as spam, just as @maitasun has suggested.
