Steps you do, when you decide to create new Gig

Hi every one, each one of us has some skills and would use it properly, when you decide to provide some thing you are good in, you create a new Gig
but before this how do you plan for this ? how do you make Feasibility study for it ? whats your marketing plan to get the first order on it ?
