Feeling lost on first gig! Price Vs Portfolio which is more important?

My first time posting gigs and have not had a single gig done. Any tips and advise on it will be grateful.
Does price matter a lot compare to good designs and portfolio here? How to break through having a first successful gig?

Edit: Suggest you check your gigs against others in your category re pricing. New sellers usually offer lower prices until they move up the levels.

How many days it has been? for a newbie i always recommend to create a gig with small task with low price so that the seller can risk ordering gig from a newbie. Charge less till you get couple of reviews
