Is fiverr the vendor or is the designer that I am hiring? Does fiverr handle the 1099 tax forms at the end of the year for me? Do I need to send a 1099 to fiverr or the designer?

What? Fiverr is neither a vendor nor a designer. It is a platform where many different sellers put their services and buyers purchase from a specific seller. It is a freelance platform.

As a buyer, you don’t need to worry about tax forms for anybody you’ve hired. It’s up to each Fiverr seller to sort out their own tax in their own country. One job less for you. 🙂
