Hi everyone, I just wanted to give a little tip to the buyers out there. In order to get what you actually want on fiverr, you need to read the description of the gig. Also watch the video if there is one.

Once you order a gig, make sure you read the sellers instructions so that they get all the info they need from you in order to please you and make you happy and do exactly what you want.

If you want something a bit different than the gig, message the seller before you buy the gig. Most sellers are willing to do things differently and match special requests, but they might not have the skills or resources to do everything. So ask before you buy if you’re not sure.

Best of luck to you all 🙂

This is so true, as sellers we all love customers, sometimes we have customers that order without reading descriptions fully and might not be abale to fully deliver your gig to specification. To that end a quick message if you are unsure will answer any questions or special requests, 9 times out of 10 most of us are willing to accomodate your requests.

I couldn’t agree with you more. If you want to get the best results from a seller, you should ask him first whether he/she can do it. Sometimes I get orders from buyers that I or anyone cannot practically do. So those orders end up in mutual cancellation. As you know any type of excessive cancellations are not good for the seller. These can be avoided if the buyer discusses with the seller about the job before ordering. ALWAYS MESSAGE BEFORE YOU BUY!!!

Reply to @alliemadison12: It’s so frustrating sometimes! Do you have (I’m assuming) have people place an order only to ask you a question? I’ve have to cancel countless order because of people placing orders just to message me, or people placing orders to just ask me to do things I don’t even offer (ie. Someone placed an ordering asked me to be their girlfriend. What in the world?) I’ve had stranger orders, but I always feel bad when I have to tell people ‘No.’ that just because you placed an order with me doesn’t mean I am going to fullfil any strange/random request you tell me to do, and I’ve had some strange ones. :

Reply to @thepromogirl: HAHAHA no I can’t say I’ve had any orders like that! I get messages like that all the time, which gets annoying. They’ll say “you’re hot” or “will you be my girlfriend” and I always reply “Thanks. Are you interested in ordering?” I get so mad when people get conversational in the messages, and they aren’t even going to buy. This is a business website. NOT social networking! Blahh this deserves it’s own thread!
