"Unread messages" won't go away

Have you experience this?

I have 2 ‘unread messages’ notification…
They are old messages, I mark them as ‘read’ many times, and they still appear in notifications as unread?

So far I’m not having this issue, it may problem on your side/your account.You can check by clearing cache. It may be resolved. (also check disabling other browser extensions)

I have this issue, but not that sever, I get notifications and when I check, those messages and notifications have already been seen before.

But after check those again, the icon goes away
