Buyer want to cancel the order

When I ask a reason for cancel the order he said:

I no longer need this. It’s just not working out.

It’s not a valid reason for a cancellation!

Tell your buyer to read Fiverr ToS and refuse the cancellation.

Please refer to fiverr’s Help Center: Of course in this case you are the seller, but you can see how this applies to the buyer, for your future reference.

I was spent most of the time on his/her project but he wants to cancel. My hard work is wasted. What can I do?

Say “no”. If you did the work, you should be paid. The buyer sounds like he wants all of the work you did for free, and that is something you should always say “no” to. Always.

i have same experience if you say No you will Definitely get Negative feedback and once buyer try to dispute cs will cancel your order with negative feedback left there 😕 so i recommend cancel and offer Him refund . If you cancel the order what ever situation it will affect to your cancellation ratio.

if you done your job You must get paid but cs will never fight for That

It is against Fiverr’s rules to cancel any completed order just to avoid receiving negative feedback. If you did the work, you should get paid for that work. It’s as simple as that.

If you have deliver your order as you say you should contact CS and give them prove that you have deliver they will solve your problem.

The buyer said:

> "I’ve already contacted support to cancel. I never asked for revisions. Thanks"

Is CS cancel the order or affect my profile?

Move on. In my personal experience, such incidents happen once in 2-3 months.

Not exactly the same, but similar. As I wrote, once every 2-3 months. It will affect your stats but you can’t do anything about it.

If you faced these types of incidents…What did you do to improve your stats?

Just move on, as new buyers arrive, the mistakes from the past slowly fade 🙂

If the buyer does not review on my profile after the order marked as completed after 3 days, there will be effect on the profile or not?

has he threatened to leave a bad review ? if yes than there my friend you have an advantage but if he just wants it to be cancelled … get it done … send a refund to the buyer… i know this is the sad part but trust me if you force him to complete the order either through constant refusal or through the support mark my words he will leave a devastating review … and that is the worst thing you could get …
Sadly this review is the advantage the buyer has over you and you have to admit his right as he is paying you … and sadly there are people like this … but dont worry just remain here and work hard not every buyer is like this one !! Hope it helps

I don’t think so. Almost 30% of my work is unrated and probably 15-20% completed automatically. Despite that, my earnings have a tendency to grow.
