Who is more important for fiverr. sellers or buyers

I think fiverr took buyers more important than the sellers. The way fiverr treats the sellers is like that of a slave. A buyer comes in to order your gigs, after he/she approving the order and with 5 stars ratings, the buyers would comes back again in few months to cancel the orders.

If you can’t offer a quality service because you discard qualified sellers, you will lose buyers.

The sellers with certifications and good recommendations will leave Fiverr, sooner or later, and no one will recommend it. It’s not just a strategic mistake what they do, it’s also mistreating sellers.

You need to document your good performance at Fiverr: there are better sites where to work.

They don’t. What they do is being a platform where sellers and buyers can connect and do transactions.

Just as eBay doesn’t sell any of your items. They are just a platform.

That doesn’t mean that Fiverr is in favor of those sellers. If the buyer does a charge back there is not that much Fiverr can do, except removing the buyer from the platform afterwards. This has been discussed hundreds of times here.

Buyer is important than seller since if buyer give bad review then it effect seller’s profile and if seller give bad review to buyer then it doesn’t effect since buyer give money so buyer is important

hi every one i face some issues in fiverr.

buyer do every thing he want. like cancel the order after perfect delivery or leave a bad review. buyer can force the sellers for every thing, and seller have to do every thing because he worry about bad review. i want to know that sellers are servants in fiverr. some sellers know that what i want to say

We who offer skill and service to customer, then Customer Satisfaction is the number one priority.

“buyer can force the sellers for every thing” is true, But if the buyer satisfied with the result, they will provide you with bigger tips. If not, then it’s just your bad luck got a bad buyer. Simple as that.

There are many seller who complaint about how Fiverr handle things.

Nobody force you to join Fiverr at the first place.

If Seller didn’t agree with Fiverr Policy, then just quit Fiverr and do your service at other place 🙂

Order can’t be cancelled by one side unless the seller accepts the cancellation offer. If the seller delivered what buyer required, the seller has right to get paid. Further, if buyer disagrees to do so, seller can take help from Customer support.

yes but if we not agree with the cansellation, buyer leave very bad review, one bad review is nothing for level two seller or level one seller, but for new seller one bad review is very bad.

I’m going to broaden this beyond Fiverr’s borders for a second and imagine what it would be like if someone came along and was a real viable competitor to Fiverr. I mean someone who could give Fiverr a real run for its dollars by providing more traffic and better service than Fiverr can.

I doubt if Fiverr would care for such competition but it would be great for both buyers and sellers

So who to say whom is more important may depend on whose bottom line is effected, but in reality we need each other or there would be no bottom line.

Guess it is important for us sellers to choose the right person to work with. Of course it is hard to judge when you only exchange a few messages but there are still ways to test out. None of the tactics guarantee 100% good buyers … they can, however, reduce the number. 😀

from a business perspective, Fiverr favors buyers. Money comes from buyers, sellers are just a tool. A product FIverr sells.

If you have made purchases that you weren’t happy with - as far as the final result went - 4 times?.. that tells me you need to do some better research BEFORE you buy.

Fiverr has a lot of competition and it wasn’t the first site.

To lower the quality of the service is a mistake because that increases its bad reputation.

Now, Fiverr is now known as a site where to hire freelancers for little money and get in return a job of poor quality.

If many sellers go away, then many buyers can go away too. There is no benefit.

Well, I guess my buyers don’t know this. I know for me and quite a few other people, high-quality buyers just keep coming and spending more. I do believe it is wise to diversify and never rely on one site for your income, so I don’t rely on Fiverr alone, but I’ve had an increase in sales since many low-quality sellers have left Fiverr.

I do agree with this. Right now I do get some sales on other sites but those sites rely on a bidding system and some cost money up front, unlike Fiverr. Fiverr really doesn’t have a lot of competition doing exactly what they do. A good competitor would be good for everyone and would probably even increase the overall quality of Fiverr.

Personally, I would love to see a site that featured low priced and “fun” gigs like Fiverr did when it was new. I think a site like that would gain some of the sellers who will be removed from Fiverr in time. I would also like to see more moderately priced and high priced sites based on a model like the one here. (I like Fiverr okay but I’m not Fiverr “fanperson/fanboy/fangirl” either as some people seem to think. I’m all for more competition, but I would be happy to grow with Fiverr as well.)

In my experience it’s buyers who are more important. They favour the scam artist. I’m just here because 99% of my clients are amazing, and until my next gig starts in the fall.

I wish it could be the sellers, because without them wouldn’t exist the buyers, but the contrary is the same.

Really speaking, sellers and buyers should be compared the same, because BOTH are fiverr clients, without one there would not exist the other. in other words, wouldn’t exist fiverr without BOTH.

But nowadays, the sellers are in the bottom of the list, because sellers cant be replaceable, buyers can’t.

Without buyers, you wouldn’t have sellers and vice versa.

If you start thinking that buyers are seen as more important than sellers, you’ll just end up with an enormous chip on your shoulder.
