Am I missing how to do custom orders?

I’ve been having a client trying to get me to offer him a custom order of 2 write ups for 1 at a lower price than a gig. But I mentioned that when I’ve done custom orders, Fiverr doesn’t allow anything below $100 price. When I mentioned this, the buyer stated that they have someone else do custom orders all the time for $5.

So, Am I just missing another way to do custom orders? I’ve tried to put together a custom order and Fiverr won’t let me put in anything below $100. So, I’m a bit confused.

I mean, the buyer could just be saying it to get me to go around my original gig. Or, I’m missing how to do custom orders.

Not sure what you mean with “put together” a custom offer, but if you click the “Create an Offer” button below the message box in the conversation with your hopeful buyer, you should be able to create one and choose any integer $ amount that’s between $5 (lower than that doesn’t work thankfully) and … a max amount that depends on your level, $10000 for level 2, $5000 for level 1, don’t know for level 0.

If you can’t type anything under $100 into the box, maybe you have met a bug, in which case Customer Support are the ones to ask for help.

Thank you. I was trying to do that, and it was weird. I got into milestones or something. I’ll know for next time now. Thank you. I have tried out making a custom offer, and was able to send it. The buyer has since moved on, but I’m guessing, at least I know how to do custom offers.
