They don’t allow it because student use it for their class work.

Wow. I didn’t know that. Thank you. Regarding your gigs. From the point of view of a newcomer, I liked them. Your profile photo makes people believe you)). In some gig descriptions you lack points, they are empty spaces where you wanted to write things down. And also the descriptions were not very clear for me, because there is too much of signs and etc. May be you need more clarity in them and better structure. Thank you for telling me about the research papers ))

I really liked your first gig. About the gig on bugs errors, I think there is a need for a full description. And may be you need another profile picture to look more professional. Its stupid I know, but people really look at this things. By now you are just having fun outside on your photo. May be you even do a video to introduce yourself. Yeah yeah I have the same problem with mine.

I would like to clarify a little here. @zaiba202 If what I understood was correct, research work/writing articles/papers is definitely allowed as long as it is not meant for academic purposes. For example, if your work is meant for consumption by a research lab/organization, it is perfectly fine - As long as it has nothing to do with academics.

So, I would suggest that you remove the term “Academic Writing” from your gig: “I Will Research And Write A Paper”, and also remove references to academic writing from you gig description too; and you should be fine. @kasi2018

P.S: As @fonthaunt said, this is a grey area. Their policies have been unclear about this. Therefore, if I were in your place, I’d definitely get it checked with CS. @kasi2018

I actually would be surprised if they allowed this. Their policies have been unclear. Even if one rep says yes, another might not.

I have looked at all your gigs and found a few things you might want to consider altering?
I would definitely remove this
‘I am a new seller here on Fiverr, so I would be happy to do my job diligently at the lowest price possible and get the best review from you’
Its difficult enough to get orders on fiverr. You are unintentionally telling potential customers you are inexperienced and desperate for reviews. Even if you are desperate it’s something a customer doesn’t need to know.

This is what I see on your social media gig. I will provide you with social media backround checks in 2 days for 12 dollars.
ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd I am sure it’s unintentional.

On your wix website gig you wrote this 'Note: I am a new desperate seller, hungry for good reviews, so use this opportunity to get high quality service for the cheapest price on the marketplace!
I know this seems like a good idea, but telling people you are desperate isn’t professional. People are going to take advantge of your desperation… guaranteed

Same again…I just started Fiverr, so I am desperate for your good reviews, my dear buyers, which makes me more eager to provide you with high quality service and just charge symbolic fees. I will be working 100 % to make YOU love my service.
We humans are a strange breed , when we smell desperation we are inclined to look elsewhere. Hope all this helps…it wasn’t intended to hurt, although it probably feels like it.

Yeah, I am having some issues with my profile/gigs being listed on Fiverr at the moment. I have sent CS a ticket regarding this. I hope that they’re able to get my profile back up ASAP 🙏

I would really appreciate it if you had a look at my gig (yes, I know I have only one up at the moment) as well as my profile description. Thanks!

She did say criticize harshly 😉

I think that we are either repulsed by it, or we attack it.

Maybe you shouldn’t offer exorbitant pricing from the get-go, and don’t be cocky, but don’t sell yourself short either. Just show you are the best option for what someone needs and they’ll order, even if you are new or don’t have the lowest prices.

Hi hanshuber16 Couldn’t resist having a look at your gig. it is excellent. Very clear and easily understood.

Thanks for your valuable feedback. I really appreciate it! 😁 I had a look at your profile too and I think I’d say the same about your gigs as well. Nicely articulated and to the point! @indybutts

@kasi2018 As indybutts suggested, I think it would be a good idea not to specifically mention the fact that you are new on Fiverr and that you are desperate for reviews. That doesn’t really send a positive vibe to the people who might be checking your gigs.

I am a proofreader and editor and by nature of habit, I started looking for major grammatical or typographical errors that may have made their way into your gig descriptions. And so, here are a few I found:

In the gig about translating from English to Russian,
you could change “I have a 5 years experience of interpreting…” to “I have 5 years of experience interpreting…”

In the gig about translating from English to Turkish,
you could change “I have a 5 years experience teaching people…” to “I have 5 years of experience teaching people…”

In the gig “I Will Provide You With Social Media Background Checks”,
please change the description.

In the gig “I Will Build And Redesign Wix Website”,
you could add a comma to the sentence- “With a good and experienced constructor your wix website will help you increase your revenues.” so that it becomes “With a good and experienced constructor, your wix website will help you increase your revenue.”

In the gig “I Will Set Up And Manage Your Google Ads”
you could change “with 2 years experience of setting up Google Ads and managing them.” to “with 2 years of experience in setting up Google Ads and managing them.”

I hope this helps!
