Why is Fiverr having 0-star review (☆☆☆☆☆) option?

I agree with (★☆☆☆☆), but I disagree with (☆☆☆☆☆). I have seen a lot of topics created because a buyer gave 0-star reviews. How can that be possible? Will contacting Support will help?

Give it a try. It makes no sense to have it 0 stars.

As I’m aware from my own experience, a 0 star review isn’t possible. The minimum a buyer can give is 1/5. I recently had a similar situation where a buyer had given me 0/5 in a specific category and after investigation, I found out that it was a bug in the system as they had rated me much higher.

Now, if Fiverr has gone ahead and changed the review system to accommodate 0 star reviews then it’s a totally different story.

How about if Fiverr add minus star reviews ? If someone’s delivery is too poor that they desrver to get some penalty !! 😮

Eek! I’ll pretend that I didn’t read the ⬆️

Maybe they should beta test your account. 😛

Zero stars review!!! that cannot be possible…

Here is a proof that this really exists:

Capturess.JPG.cb73c2a9da28e41eb7acc60aa65a668d.JPGBuyer was 100% satisfy and he just left 0 star! but how? As far as I know the minimum rating is 1 star so how he gave me 0 star? Is it any Fiverr bug?

Whoa! That’s bizarre. Heard back from CS? I’m curious about this and what they’ll say about it.

lol 😃 This reminds me of that one time some years ago, I got a 1-star review from Germany. He wrote a stellar review and marked with 1 star (which is actually the best grade in Germany). Germans use a 6-point grading scale (GPA) to evaluate the performance of school children. Grades vary from 1 (excellent, sehr gut) to 6 (insufficient, ungenügend). When I reminded him that here is actually 5 stars the best grade he laughed, apologized and edited it back to five.

Yea, that’s a funny experience! 😁

@insects44

I got a confirmation from a buyer that it is indeed a bug after being hit by the 0-star nonsense.

I had a 0 star on one of the three factors, and the buyer clearly told me that he marked all of them 5 stars, and his feedback confirms that he was fully satisfied with the delivery and service.

I’ve also sent CS a ticket with images to prove this.

UPDATE:

CS got back to me, and they’ve sent the screenshots and my ticket to the appropriate department to further investigate this. I asked them to send this forum thread as well 😉

In the meantime, CS advises that we request a feedback change from the buyer in the hope that the problem will solve itself at the second review (it did for me).

However, you can only use the request feedback change feature only ONCE per order, so if the buyer rates the order a second time and you still get a 0-star feedback, then you’ll have to ask your buyer to contact CS themselves to assist them in changing the feedback again.
