farazsiyal Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Hi everyone, today, I have received spam message from a buyer. what should I do now? :roll_eyes:If Fiverr detects a buyer’s message as a spam, will there be any problem with contacting that buyer?? 😕Please help…Thanks 🙂
theratypist Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 This most likely happened because the buyer used the same copy pasted message and sent it to several sellers he/she is interested in working with. I haven’t really had any problems contacting the buyer about it – I noticed such messages don’t appear in mobile but it does appear on desktop. But if it was another kind of spam then I don’t think it’s something to worry about – it saved you the time from dealing with a shady buyer.

rafiislamm Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 No there is no problem with that. You can contact with the buyer if you feel free that is not actual spam buyer.

maedan Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Thanks for help…@farazsiyal Just so you know, if you don’t answer at all, your response rate may drop and may affect your gig placement. If the message is indeed spam, a good idea would be to unspam it, answer with an emoticon or similar (and then you can mark it as spam again) to keep your response rate. Hope this helps
