I fully agree. I understand how this could be potentially counterproductive for Fiverr, but so would a mob of angry sellers 🙂

It would be even better if we were able to reject an order. For example, 3d Hubs (a 3d printing consumer marketplace which unfortunately took a sad unrelated turn) allowed sellers to choose if they wanted to do an order. There are many reasons one may want to reject orders- they have unexpected last minute business, the buyer has a bad rating (if it were shown,) they are requesting work outside the scope of the gig.

These two two features combined would make sellers so much happier.

The closest I think you’ll ever get it typing the following into Google.

[username] site:fiverr.com

No, it just shows buyer’ description, country, and date of account creation.

Also, that page can be reached from the conversations too when clicking on buyer’s username.

There are caveats… that person would have had to review someone else’s Gig and it would have had to been indexed by Google. Certainly not a perfect solution but it does in fact work if that is the case.

I think there is an option for order rejection, there is an order cancellation option in the Resolution Center on any order page, but this affects order completion rate.

Exactly. It would be nice to reject for any reason with no negatives.

UPDATE: I saw a section for reviews on the right part of the buyer’s info widget while I was chatting with him/her. Does it show the feedback sellers have given to him? Here is a screenshot:

And when I opened his/her profile, there were no gigs, nor reviews:

Is anyone able to unravel that?

Thanks for your help!

I believe it means they were once a seller, but they removed their gig.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe even if you delete/pause a gig it shows reviews from that gig on your profile.

Would you like to be going around a supermarket with a star rating above your head so everyone can see how good or bad a customer you are? (Based purely on the opinion of total strangers)

Might be a bit off putting, and you might choose to shop somewhere else - after all, as a buyer, it’s your money that’s being spent.

Sounds like the Black Mirror episode Nosedive. Might be fun.
