Handling never-ending projects

How do you deal with projects that take months to complete?

When the buyer pops up once a month with a round of revisions and god forbid if you have any questions about those because then you have to wait for another 2 weeks for a question to be answered.

I contacted CS about this, and according to them, the buyer is entitled to receive all the revisions included in the initial order even if it takes them years to reach out to you.

I like fiverr because the workflow very quick and 99.9% of my projects take me 2-3 days to complete. I’m not looking for long-term contractual obligations. What I don’t like is being held hostage for months (especially since now refunding the buyer after the order is closed doesn’t prevent them from leaving a review).

It does happen 2-3 times a year, and so far I was always available for surprise revisions round months after I’ve already forgotten about the buyer. But I’d like to discourage this kind of behavior and keep the things running smoothly to the best of my ability.

Any tips?
