Buyer not satisfied with order, rejects delivery, and stops responding

Help! I am lost on how to proceed next.

I delivered my order, buyer was not satisfied (saying what I delivered wasn’t what he wanted when he did not communicate any specific details in the gig requirements.), rejected my work and says he is on the verge of calling for resolution.

I offered a refund but he has not responded for several days after the delivery. I sent a reminder that he can receive the refund if he wishes to, and mutually cancel. He has still not responded. What is the best course of action?

Why not communicate with your buyer and ask how you can fix the problem? Maybe the communication was lacking as far as what the buyer wanted or something. Would you be willing to revise the order? Not enough clarity and such can cause problems. Communication is a key element in resolving most issues!

Hi nikavoice thanks for the feedback! I am willing to work out a smooth resolution with the buyer but he is not responding ever since he rejected the delivery. I can see he logged in every now and then but he just doesn’t respond. I can’t proceed with communication if he doesn’t respond 😦

I am willing to work out a smooth resolution with the buyer but he is not responding ever since he rejected the delivery.

I suggest re-sending the same thing you delivered before.

That way you can still get paid for your work.

Since he will not respond then you need to try this.

Oh, no! I’m sorry to hear you’re having troubles, sounds like the buyer is playing games (hide~n~seek or silent treatment). I mean there’s nothing more you can do. Especially if you’re willing to resolve the issue, however dealing with an unresponsive buyer doesn’t help. At least you’re leaving a paper trail if CS take a look at the messages. If you deliver again and the order auto-completes, there’s a chance the buyer will leave a negative. I still feel like if you deliver he’ll reject the order again. I guess at this point do you want to cancel the order? or Stand your ground and get paid? I mean, it’s for you to decide.

Same with a new order I have … even after a professional output … only he rejects the delivery after 2 days again and again… although I provided 4 revisions to a perfect output… but he doesn’t give any new requirement and keeps rejecting …

Crazy how much open hand the buyers have…
