Hi I am new to Fiverr and I am a seller.Yutube SEO is my specialization,recently I recieved a order ,he

just sent me his youtube video link,but as you know I need access to his creator studio to edit the video.

So, how does this all go ,what are the requirements I need from the buyer and what can I ask for the

access to his youtube video?Please kindly help as this is my first order.

I’ve edited videos with editing software.

Tell him to send you the video file. Or just ask him for his login information. You can make this information a requirement that he has to fill in before the order starts.

I think you should be prepared to edit them with software if they send you the video file.

I’m surprised anyone would give you the login information.

Do you add tags in video with using an editing program? If yes, no need accoun informations.

If you edit youtube pages for seo, surely you need account access. However, i dont mind giving my google account informations to anyone.

You don’t need his login info and most buyers would wisely refuse to give it to you. He can send you a copy of the video through Fiverr or in a Dropbox link and then you can make edits and send it back to him.

Honestly, this is simple info that you should know if you offer video editing. I don’t mean this harsh. Perhaps you should either try something different on Fiverr or learn more about videos.

It sounds like this type of gig is not allowed by either youtube or fiverr. He said he wants to edit the video.

If you’re offering YouTube SEO, I’m not sure why you’d need to change the original video? I can see that perhaps you could rename the video using keywords etc. before uploading, but the buyer could do that, change the tags, description etc. themselves if you give them to them.

Not sure about your claim of ‘ranking your video in first place’ though for $5? That’s a difficult promise to achieve!

Best not to offer something you can’t achieve - if somebody purchases your gig and you can’t do as you’ve promised, they’d be entitled to ask for a refund.

Why not pause your gig until you’ve finished editing it? ☀️

Yep, I checked this with CS some time back.

Any gigs selling SEO services where there is a specific result promised are eligible for cancellation if they do not achieve the result within the specified gig duration. Many get around this by saying the results will take 30+ days but this is against ToS - results should be achieved before it is delivered.

It is all a very gray area with CS as you will see many of the highest volume sellers have gigs that say their results take 40+ days!

You should have not cancelled you should have taken it to Customer Support first, now you are going to have a negative on your stats. I lost 2 ranks because of 1 cancellation.
