SALES going down down and down

Duh, a countless number of things are wrong with your profile.

I am going to start with the most obvious one, you are using a fake profile picture of a celebrity. You have some grammar errors, and on top of it, you are using free templates as your gig photos. Do you know that people aren’t that naive, they can do a reverse image search on google and find out that you are selling templated work?

Dont worry and keep calm

I have the same problem! What’s happening?

It’s all started a week ago, since the fiver introduced new rules to push the level of sellers down. I was a salesman of level 2 and level 1 and now I’m without any level.

I had regular orders and now I have NOTHING for a week now!

You have already ranted about this in two other topics created by two different people. Please stop hijacking other people’s topics to complain about things you can easily change – if only you would work hard to make some changes, instead of expecting Fiverr to provide everything for you.

There is nothing wrong with your gigs. Nor is there any sort of conspiracy to “push your sales down”. You just aren’t willing to do the work to improve your gigs, and reach out to those who need your services. If you aren’t going to take responsibility for your own success – and you’re going to falsely blame all of your troubles on Fiverr – then maybe you need this reset so that you reassess your gigs, and figure out how YOU can make them work more effectively.

Fiverr does not owe you anything. Fiverr does not guarantee sales. Figure out how to reach out to your target customers, set goals, and work hard to achieve those goals. Success is within your reach, you just need to be willing to reach out and grab it.

-Sorry you are from Fiverr support? If yes you have to say it publicly… If not your tips are stupid, you are incompetent to do this.

  • I have no problem with my gigs Ias you said. But I loose all my new orders… very weird!

  • you’re speaking again in the name of the Fiverr? Please explain.

I am a seller, just like you. My tips are rock-solid, and as true as they come. I’m sorry to hear that YOU think they are “stupid”.

But I loose all my new orders… very weird!

If you are “losing orders”, then maybe now is a good time to start marketing and promoting your gigs. Since when do the requirements of a successful business not apply to you?

I have been a seller on Fiverr for four years, and a former forum mod. I speak from knowledge, understanding, and experience. What do you speak from?

mineeli:

-I repeat. I’m not marketing and promoter. The only thing I can do on social networks is to spam -it’s my ability as one man. Marketing requires a plan and a cash investment from professionals. Dont repeat this wrong idea of selfpromotion and marketing as a seller. This does not exist in practice. You need a cash for marketing everywhere to promote yourself enough.

Nobody will start my gig from my facebook or instagram friends or so. It’s bullshit…

I have been a seller on Fiverr for 2 years and I speak from pure logic.

-Fiver needs to take care of and push forward his good enough sellers rather than just extreme fanatic vendors. tNot o push them back in no case. Fiverr should take care of the sale of each good seller and push them just up.

Maybe your time is up, now it’s someone else’s turn 😉

You’ve enjoyed the free promotion long enough.

Respectfully, perhaps that is what they are doing but they measure what a “good seller” is differently to how you do. If everyone has five star reviews then what else could there be to differentiate between sellers. Well, one way could be through checking the order completed and delivered on time stats which you are not so great on.

It is reasonable to assume that Fiverr values these things highly as failing either results in losing a seller level. Work on fixing those stats, adjust your delivery time etc.

As to whether you can promote yourself or not? Come on, the internet is full of guides for how you can manage to actually market yourself in ways that will only cost you time. May I ask if you have checked the forum for advice on selling or marketing?

If so, what advice have you tried to implement?

If not, perhaps it is time to try it.

If your sales are going down, think about adding $5 to your highest priced package.

In a brief bout of massive (but unavoidable) cancellations, all my sales and messages ground to a deathly silence. - Just like they tend to after cancellations. At the same time though, I noticed a pricing error on one of my gig packages so fixed this by adding $5 and within the hour, messages were once again pouring in.

Give it a try. If you’re not getting orders anyway, it won’t hurt.
