sinisterchill
Hi,I am new to Fiverr, my experience thus far has been amazing. But unfortunately I am facing a problem with a certain buyer. I send him an image as per his request but he didn’t like it. I have no issues with that, since I would be glad to help him. But unfortunately he doesn’t want to follow up, even though I offered my service. If I were to cancel the order, I suppose it would affect my ratings and I don’t want to do that either. I would be very thankful if someone could help me out.And please feel free to correct me if I have committed any mistake from my side.

sinisterchill
Hi jonbaas, he placed an order. And the deadline is within a few hours. How long did you set the delivery time for the order he placed?I had set the delivery date to 2 days. But now, the stipulated time is over. I didn’t get any sort of reply even then.(other than those 2 messages) So I delivered the work and requested him to reject it if he was not pleased with it. sinisterchill
Perhaps you may have to consider lengthening the package delivery time.Thank you for the advice. But this was a custom offer, and I did do thework 12 hrs prior to the deadline. It’s just that the buyer was not lettingme know how he wanted the work to turn out to be. And immediately resortedto cancelling the order. Now the work is placed as ,waiting for review.

Now the work is placed as ,waiting for review.I am getting the feeling that the buyer may be trying to take advantage of you. It could be that your work is fine, but the buyer is trying to get work done for free by having you cancel. If you stand behind your work, I would recommend sending this to you buyers:“Orders are not eligible to be cancelled based on the quality of service/materials delivered by the seller if the service was rendered as described in the Gig page. You may rate your experience with the seller on the order page, including the overall level of service quality received.”This is from the Fiverr TOS. A buyer cannot cancel an order because they are not happy with the quality. They CAN leave a rating on the transaction. It’s ok if it stays as “waiting for review”, it will be completed in 72 hours. However, I would avoid cancelling the order.
carineb
Here are the most important lines for you:Orders are not eligible to be cancelled based on the quality of service/materials delivered by the seller if the service was rendered as described in the Gig page.(Don’t remind him that he can rate your job!)Tell your client that the only thing you can do is to improve your work and that you need him to tell you what he doesn’t like. hamna931
I would advise you to immediately contact with “Customer Support” and take them in full confidence before “Buyer” do something against you, I mean a bad review. So, if you could already inform to CS about the actual case then I am sure they will not leave you alone to be affected from that particular “Buyer” if everything is totally fine from your side.If the order time is near to be ended then you can go ahead and deliver the order since you have provided the work from your end and happy to do revisions if buyer is genuinely not satisfied with the work done. sinisterchill
I wanted to update you guys of the situation. I contacted the CS like hamna931 advised and they were kind enough to look into the situation. And advised me to contact the buyer and let him know that I was willing to help him out. So I did that, but did not receive any response from him even then. So in the end the order got automatically marked as completed.Thank you jonbaas, loganstover, carineb, hamna931, rahdil for helping me out.😊
